Questions about wabi sabi sculptures
Why does every piece look slightly different?
Because none of them are cast. Each sculpture is shaped and then plastered, textured and finished by hand, so surface movement, tone and small irregularities vary from piece to piece. That variation is the finish, not a defect in it.
What are they made of?
An engineered lightweight sculptural core, covered by hand in multiple layers of mineral plaster. Mineral pigments, limewash tones and protective finishes are applied by hand according to the surface treatment selected.
How long until mine arrives?
Production is typically 5–10 business days. Transit to the United States and Canada is typically 7–14 business days after dispatch — usually 2–5 weeks from order to doorstep. For orders delivered within the United States, customs duties and import charges are covered by Mono Aurel.
Can these go outdoors?
It depends on the piece. Some are rated for covered outdoor use or can be given a protective exterior finish on request; others are indoor pieces. Each product page states which applies before you order.
What if I change my mind?
Catalogue pieces ordered in a listed size, colour and finish can be returned within 14 days of delivery under our refund policy. Commissioned work made to your own specification cannot be returned for change of mind. Damage or a fault should be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery.
