A bench is the quietest piece of furniture in a room — and the one that most defines its architecture. Ours are sculpted, not manufactured: a reinforced core beneath layered mineral plaster, finished by hand until the surface reads like carved stone.
They anchor an entryway, close a bedroom, sit beneath an artwork. Give one space and it becomes the room's horizontal line.
Designer's note — a plaster bench against a plastered wall, tone on tone, is one of the simplest ways to make a hallway feel designed rather than furnished.

Are the benches made for daily use?
Yes — each bench is built around a reinforced structural core beneath the mineral plaster finish. If your project has a specific structural requirement, ask us for the piece's specification before ordering.
Can a bench live outdoors?
In sheltered spaces such as covered terraces, selected pieces can. Tell us before ordering — we can apply additional protective sealing and advise on placement.
Can I order custom dimensions?
Yes — benches are frequently commissioned to fit a specific wall, hallway or bed width. Send us your measurements.

Mono Aurel benches are handmade sculptural seating pieces in stone-look mineral plaster, made to order and shipped worldwide. Built around a reinforced core and finished entirely by hand, each bench carries the subtle tool marks and tonal variation of the atelier — suited to minimalist entryways, organic-modern bedrooms and hospitality projects. Custom lengths, heights and finishes are available, with tones matched to RAL, NCS or Pantone references.
