Mono Aurel Atelier
Warranty
Every Mono Aurel piece is shaped and finished by hand in our atelier. This page sets out the one-year limited warranty that applies to it: what it covers, what it does not, and how to make a claim.
Warranty period
Mono Aurel provides a one-year limited warranty. The warranty period begins on the date your piece is delivered and runs for one year.
Who the warranty covers
The warranty applies to the original purchaser of the piece.
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers verified manufacturing defects and product faults that appear under the product's stated intended use.
- Manufacturing defect — a fault that originates in how the piece was made: its core, its construction or its finish, rather than in anything that happened to it after delivery.
- Product fault — a failure of the piece to perform as a piece of its kind should when used as intended, such as a structural or functional failure not caused by misuse or accident.
Stated intended use
Each product page states where that piece is intended to be used — for example indoors, or in covered outdoor spaces with a protective finish. Warranty cover follows that stated intended use. A piece used in a way or a place its product page does not provide for is outside the warranty.
What the warranty does not cover
- Misuse, including use contrary to the placement and care guidance on the product page
- Accidental damage, including impact damage
- Improper installation
- Unauthorised modification or repair
- Normal wear
- Natural variation in colour, texture, tone and dimensions. Every piece is formed and finished by hand; this variation is a characteristic of the work, not a defect.
Transit damage is handled separately
Damage that happens in transit is not part of this warranty. It is handled under our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy: if a piece arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery with photographs of the piece and its packaging.
How to make a claim
Email info@monoaurel.com within the warranty period and include:
- your order number
- photographs of the fault
- photographs of the complete piece
- a short description of the issue
- when the issue appeared
- how the product was being used
We may ask for further photographs or information so that the issue can be assessed.
If a claim is accepted
Where we verify a manufacturing defect or product fault, we will provide a replacement or a refund. We will confirm the remedy with you once the claim has been assessed. In most cases you will not be asked to return the original piece.
Your statutory rights
This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any mandatory rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
