Every piece is shaped over a lightweight sculptural core and finished by hand with multiple layers of mineral plaster, giving a dense, matte, stone-like surface. Mineral pigments, limewash tones and protective finishes are applied by hand according to the selected surface treatment. Tones sit in the ivory, bone and warm sand family and soften beautifully in natural light.
Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid prolonged direct water contact unless your piece was sealed for sheltered outdoor use — if in doubt, write to us; a real person from the atelier answers.
Custom sizes, colours and finishes are available, including RAL, NCS and Pantone tone matching. Tell us the dimensions and tone you need and we will reply with options and a quote. We can also prepare a written spec sheet from your piece’s final measurements for project use.
Every piece is handcrafted to order in our atelier. Production typically takes 5–10 business days unless this page states otherwise; custom sizes and more complex forms may require additional time.
Your piece leaves the atelier as soon as it is finished. Delivery timing and full terms are set out in the section below.
Insured door-to-door delivery is included in the displayed price unless a product page or checkout explicitly states otherwise. Once dispatched, transit typically takes approximately 3–10 business days depending on destination and service; carrier or customs delays can occur. For orders delivered within the United States, applicable customs duties and import charges are covered by Mono Aurel. For deliveries to all other countries, customs duties, import taxes and related destination charges are the buyer's responsibility. Any applicable sales taxes will be displayed at checkout where required. Every shipment is tracked and insured.
Each piece is cushioned and double-boxed like artwork, and you receive tracking as soon as it leaves the atelier.
We share production photos and videos at important stages, and send a detailed final video before dispatch. Your piece is shipped only after you have reviewed and approved it. If you are not satisfied before shipment, we will remake the piece or refund you. Because pieces are made to order, standard change-of-mind returns are not accepted once a piece has been approved and dispatched. Every product is covered by a one-year warranty: in the case of a verified manufacturing defect, product fault or qualifying transit damage, we will provide a refund or a replacement, and in most cases you will not be asked to return the original piece. The warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, accidental damage or ordinary wear.

This handmade crescent moon floor lamp is designed as both a sculptural decor piece and a warm ambient light. The round lunar form, raised crescent detail, crater-textured surface, and soft golden glow create a calm statement for bedrooms, living rooms, entryways, and modern interiors.
Each lamp is shaped, textured, plastered, painted, and finished by hand. The surface is inspired by the moon, with organic crater details and a matte plaster finish.
Each piece is shaped over a lightweight sculptural core and finished by hand with multiple mineral plaster layers to create its distinctive stone-like surface. This allows the piece to have a large sculptural presence while remaining lighter than solid stone or concrete.

Each piece is made to order.
The process includes shaping the sculptural moon form, creating the raised crescent detail, carving and texturing the crater surface, applying plaster by hand, painting the lunar finish, installing the warm LED lighting, and mounting the piece onto its black base.
Since every lamp is handmade, no two pieces are exactly the same. Small variations in crater placement, surface texture, plaster movement, and finish tone are normal.
Color Options
This lamp is available in three handmade finish options:
Charcoal Black – a dark lunar finish with a dramatic crater texture and strong warm light contrast.
Lunar Grey – a softer moon-grey finish inspired by the natural surface of the moon.
Warm Ivory – a light plaster finish for calm, minimal, Japandi, and warm modern interiors.
Each finish is applied by hand, so slight tone and texture variations may occur.

Notes from the Atelier
Each piece is shaped over a lightweight sculptural core and finished by hand with multiple mineral plaster layers to create its distinctive stone-like surface — applied, dried and carved back until it reads like weathered stone. Mineral pigments, limewash tones and protective finishes are applied by hand according to the selected surface treatment.
Run a hand across the surface and you will find gentle tool marks, grain and subtle shifts in tone. This variation is not a defect — it is the record of the making, and the reason no two pieces are ever identical.
Concept, carving, reinforcement, plaster, hand sanding, pigmentation, inspection — every piece passes through the same slow sequence of hands before it is packed, one piece at a time. See Our Materials and Process.
Sculptural objects work best where they can breathe — a quiet corner, an entryway, the end of a hallway, a console styled sparsely.The lightweight sculptural core keeps large architectural forms manageable to position and to move. Give the piece space and side light; plaster texture comes alive in raking light. Exact dimensions are listed above, and a written spec sheet is available on request.
A sculpture by day, a presence by night. The plaster form is designed for a warm, low-glare glow that grazes the texture of the surface — atmosphere lighting, meant to soften a room rather than flood it. We recommend a warm-white bulb (2700 K or lower) and a dimmer where possible.
Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid soaking, harsh cleaners and abrasives. Treated kindly, mineral plaster ages the way good architecture does — slowly, and with character. Read the Care Guidance.
