Materials and care
Every piece is shaped over a lightweight sculptural core and finished by hand with multiple layers of mineral plaster, giving a dense, matte, stone-like surface. Mineral pigments, limewash tones and protective finishes are applied by hand according to the selected surface treatment.
Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid prolonged direct water contact unless your piece was sealed for sheltered outdoor use — if in doubt, write to us; a real person from the atelier answers.
Production, approval and delivery
Each piece is handmade to order. Standard production typically takes 5–10 business days. Custom commissions and highly detailed pieces may require additional time. We share progress photos and videos throughout production and provide final visuals for approval before dispatch.
Insured door-to-door delivery is included in the displayed price unless a product page or checkout explicitly states otherwise. Once dispatched, transit typically takes 7–14 business days to the United States, Canada and Europe, and 10–21 business days to the rest of the world, depending on destination and service; carrier or customs delays can occur. For orders delivered within the United States, applicable customs duties and import charges are covered by Mono Aurel. For deliveries to all other countries, customs duties, import taxes and related destination charges are the buyer's responsibility. Any applicable sales taxes will be displayed at checkout where required. Every shipment is tracked and insured.
Each piece is cushioned and double-boxed like artwork, and you receive tracking as soon as it leaves the atelier. How we pack and ship
Returns and warranty
We share production photos and videos at important stages, and send a detailed final video before dispatch. Your piece is shipped only after you have reviewed and approved it. If you are not satisfied before shipment, we will remake the piece or refund you. Made-to-order production does not make a piece final sale: standard catalogue pieces, ordered in one of their listed sizes, colours and finishes, can be returned within 14 days of delivery under our Refund Policy. Pieces made specifically to your own specification — a bespoke commission — cannot be returned solely because of a change of mind. If a piece arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery with photographs of the piece and its packaging. Every piece carries a one-year limited warranty for the original purchaser, running from the date of delivery, against verified manufacturing defects and product faults under the product's stated intended use. Where we verify a claim, we provide a replacement or a refund, and in most cases you will not be asked to return the original piece. Monolith is a handmade sculptural floor lamp that blurs the line between functional lighting and contemporary art. Each piece is shaped over a lightweight sculptural core and finished by hand with multiple mineral plaster layers to create its distinctive stone-like surface, carrying the subtle imperfections of hand-making — no two are exactly alike.
A warm amber light strip glows from the organic gap where the two forms meet, casting a soft, intimate light.
